The Regional Community Institute of Northeast Florida, Inc., which was created by the Northeast Florida Regional Council to work on First Coast Vision, and Region First 2060, the partnership that put on Reality Check First Coast last May, have teamed up with the Girl Scouts of Gateway Council, Inc. to host:

This will be a free regional visioning exercise for young people between the ages of 13 and 22 *** to be directly involved in the efforts to develop a vision for the future of our region. We invite youth representatives from your organization to participate in this community leadership event. Our goal is to provide youth with a voice in shaping the community in which they will work, live and raise their families.
We encourage organizations to send groups of young people. If the young people are under 18, they must be accompanied by at least one adult supervisor per group. The organizations must have gathered the following from all of their 13-17 year old members as a group, or the individual registrants must bring the forms with them:
An organization health information form may be substituted, as long as it contains the same information as the above document. Transportation to and from the event for young people under 18 is the responsibility of the organization. Lunch will be provided for all in attendance.
We have a goal of including young people from each of the seven Counties in the First Coast region of Northeast Florida: Baker, Clay, Duval, Flagler, Nassau, Putnam and St. Johns. Space at the venue is limited and registration is on a first-come, first served basis. Registration will close when we reach capacity and our targets are met. We will confirm registration for your organization within one week by e-mail to your representative. In preparation for the event, we ask that the members of your group please review the Reality Check First Coast Guidebook.
